The 50th edition of Days of national costumes and clothing heritage in Kamnik

Every second weekend in September, Kamnik turns into the stage for clothing and cultural heritage. The days of national costumes and clothing heritage are one of the oldest festivals in Slovenia. This year's edition is already the 50th.

The festival will begin with the exhibition at the Miha Maleš Gallery on Thursday, September 8, and will conclude with the parade on Sunday, September 11, when a colourful array of different costumes from Slovenia and abroad will walk through the old town. The parade will be attended by the keynote speaker and honorary patron of the festival, the President of the Republic of Slovenia, Borut Pahor. Only in Kamnik can we witness such a rich clothing heritage, which the organizers paid special attention to during the festive occasion. Thus, this year's celebration will be an opportunity to see the record of an era in every lace and buttonhole, and at the same time an opportunity for entertainment and joy.
