The Cycling Fans of Slovenia Strava Club: 3371 km in only three days!

The first Cycling fans of Slovenia Strava Club Challenge has been launched with the aim of collecting cycling kilometres in the sum of the entire length of the French loop – 3,328 km – and by doing so, showing support to Slovenian cyclists at Tour de France.

Among them are also the main favourites, Tadej Pogačar and Primož Roglič, who are ambassadors of Slovenian tourism. Already in the first three days – from Friday, July 1, to Sunday, July 3 – 30 members of the Cycling fans of Slovenia club reached the first milestone and covered the entire length of Tour de France. On average, each contributed more than 100 kilometers. In total, they cycled 3,371 km. The overall challenge is to cycle the entire length of all 21 stages as many times as possible during Tour de France.

How many times by July 24 can we cover the entire length of Tour de France?

Fans of Slovenian cyclists at home and around the world can join the Cycling fans of Slovenia Strava Club and contribute their cycling kilometres to encourage and motivate Slovenian cyclists. The aim is to collect as many kilometres as possible during the three-week race and help five Slovenian professional cyclists achieve the best possible rankings. You can also take part in the Cycling fans of Slovenia prize game and, with a little luck, win the Slovenia Green Gourmet Route weekend cycling experience. Contribute the photos or videos of your cycling experiences and upload them to Crowdriff.

Excellent positions for Pogačar and Roglič after the first three stages

With their excellent and prudent performances at Tour de France, Slovenian cyclists delighted us already during the initial stages of the race. Tadej Pogačar has been the holder of the white shirt for the best young rider since day one, and he is in an excellent 3rd place overall. Primož Roglič is in the 7th place overall, and his teammate Wout Van Aert, who is a specialist in sprints, is the holder of the yellow and green jersey. Luka Mezgec also did an excellent job, making a significant contribution to the victory of his team and Dylan Groeneweg on the 3rd stage. Today is a free day for the cyclists and the race is moving from Denmark, where three stages were held, to France. The 4th stage will be held in France on Tuesday.
