NEW! A short film: Taste Posavje

In Krško, the premiere of a short film entitled Taste Posavje took place. The film shows the green chain in the area of Posavje and the process of how top local ingredients are sourced and brought to the plates at top local restaurants. With an abundance of delicious local ingredients, the Lower Savinja Valley (Posavje region) is writing a successful story of the development of the local gastronomy and the Flavours of the Lower Savinja Valley.

The film in a humorous way shows how the best Posavje raw materials, such as fish, Krškopolje pig and fruit, are used in the local offer. The video was produced by IDEJALISTI video production team that has already created many successful TV shows, commercials and online movies.

The region of Posavje is gaining on popularity as a distinctive gastronomic region, also thanks to the annual Tastes of Posavje festival, which connects local providers, educates them and ensures top gastronomic experiences. It boasts many typical products, such as different types of wines, including yellow plavec, blue frankincense, Krškopolje pig, capon, fish, apples, pears, cabbage, flour, berries, potatoes and other fresh vegetables and fruits. The Krško local tourism board wants top-quality raw materials to become a symbol of quality in the region.
