European Mobility Week puts sustainable mobility into forefront

This year's theme Safe and Healthy with Sustainable Mobility’ pays tribute to the hardships felt by Europe – and the world – throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. It also reflects on the opportunities for change resulting from this unprecedented health crisis in Europe.

European Mobility Week puts sustainable mobility into forefront

Cities and urban administrations have established creative, resilient responses to the pandemic. This year, European Mobility Week, which takes place 16 – 22 September,  celebrates the resilience of cities and their achievements, while seeking to sustain this momentum. Trends that began last year, such as increased active mobility and the use of low- or zero-emission mobility, require further promotion. 

In total 2905 towns and cities in 51 have registered to participate in the project. From Slovenia, there are as many as 84 participating towns and cities and even 4 organisations other than cities, which have applied their innovative projects. Further information is avaible here
