Iberia launches two weekly flights between Madrid and Ljubljana
Starting today (until 30 August), Iberia will fly between Madrid and Ljubljana twice weekly, on Mondays and Fridays.

In the recent years, Slovenia has gained popularity among Spanish tourists, though lacking direct flight connections. Earlier this year, Ljubljana won the social media contest organized by Iberia and became the 113th destination that Iberia would fly to this summer. In total, 4,719 votes were placed, of which 38 percent have gone to Ljubljana. This was the first time, that a new Iberia route was chosen through social networks.
In their latest press release, Iberia lists favourite places of their employee Rosa Baños, who praises the capital's stunning views which include Ljubljana Castle and the old town with the marketplace and furthermore highlights county's diversity and pocket-size, by suggesting the readers to visit also Postojna Cave and Predjama Castle.
