NEW! Juliana Bike

Juliana Bike is a new tourist product launched by the Association of the Julian Alps. There are 7 stages (+3 access stages), with an average stage lenght being 40 km.

The Juliana Bike Mountain Bike Loop takes you around and across the Julian Alps and is part of the Slovenian touring cycling trail. It connects villages, towns, valleys, passes and plateaus. It runs along roads, bike paths, forest and agricultural paths and cart tracks. On the 290-kilometer trail, you will pedal through five destinations connected in many ways, although each has its own unique character (Bohinj, Bled, Kranjska Gora, Soča Valley and Cerkno). In addition to 7 stages, with an average stage lenght of 40 km, there are additional 3 so-called "access stages".

Juliana Bike is marked with blue signposts that already mark the Slovenian touring bike route, only the Julian Alps (JA) label has been added. The basic difference between the Slovenian touring bike route and Juliana Bike is that the beginnings and ends of the stages have been moved to tourist centers of the Julian Alps.
