NEW for hikers and bikers: The Path of Four Elements

The new Path of Four Elements connects the border area of Slovenia and Hungary. Its distinctive characteristics is that it is crisscrossed with strong energy lines. Within approximately 80 kilometers, you will have an opportunity to visit 4 energy spots with the fundamental energies of nature – water, earth, air and fire. The path is circular, suitable for hikers and cyclists. It is rich with natural, historical and cultural monuments and culinary delights. It also encompasses three energy parks and some other springs of earthly energy.

The development of the new path is part of the activitities within the GardEN project, which connects the border regions of Slovenia and Hungary, particularly the area between Moravske Toplice in Slovenia. and Lenti in Hungary. Enormous potential of the region has so far not been realized, though both places individually form an important tourist attraction. The target of the project is to attract more visitors to the rural region between Moravske Toplice and Lenti by means of cross-border integration and sustainable tourist offer. The project focuses on the protection of cultural and natural heritage, development of the products and services within less developed rural areas and the preparation of innovative tourist packages.
