Enhanced flight connections to Ljubljana Airport
Next to Iberia's direct flights from Madrid to Ljubljana, Turkish Airlines and British Airways are enhancing flights to Ljubljana in 2020.
British Airways will run its seasonal London Heathrow-Ljubljana route from two to four weekly flights and extend the season from May to September 2020. Flights to Ljubljana will run Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays from 22 May to 25 September 2020. Flights will be operated by British Airways with the A320 airbus which can seat up to 180 passengers.
Also Turkish Airlines will boost its service between Ljubljana and Istanbul. This represents a 20 % increase compared to 2019, giving passengers better availability and connectivity. As in 2019, they will also fly the wide-ranging Airbus A330 aircraft for up to 280 passengers in some of the most desirable terms next year.
We have already mentiond that Iberia, Spain's national carrier, announced seasonal flights between Madrid and the Slovenian capital. Iberia will run four weekly services to Jože Pučnik Airport starting July 28, 2020, for a period of five weeks. Flights will operate each Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday with a mix of Airbus A319 and A320 aircraft, which have the capacity to seat 141 and 180 passengers respectively.
