A new Barcelo Group Hotel to open in Ljubljana in 2021

A Spanish hotel chain is aiming to built a new 4* design hotel in Ljubljana. The opening is expected for 2021.

Barcelo Hotel Group is planning to open its first hotel in Slovenia in May 2021.

Built in the capital of Slovenia, Ljubljana, the four-star design hotel will be centrally located near the old quarter. The property will have 151 rooms, conference room and convenient access to Cankarjev Dom, the largest cultural institution in the country. The hotel will also feature a restaurant, lobby bar, car park and two meeting rooms.

Barceló Group is the first Spanish hotel brand to enter the Slovenian market. This is mainly thanks to the fact that Ljubljana is one of the fastest-growing European capitals and that its convenient location in the heart of Europe and air connections with many European cities make it an excellent destination for MICE and leisure travellers.
