To Slovenia by coach

You can reach Slovenia by coach from many European cities. There are also regular coach services connecting various parts of the country, making travel between cities and towns easy.

Coaches to Slovenia

You can reach Slovenia by coach from many European cities. Thanks to its favourable location between the Alps, the Adriatic Sea and the Pannonian Plain, Slovenia is well connected by road. Many transport operators offer daily services from countries such as Austria, Italy, Croatia, Hungary and Germany. You can even find direct coach routes from destinations over a thousand kilometres away, including Sweden and Denmark. Most international coaches stop in Ljubljana, the main hub for both international and domestic coach routes. Some routes also call at Maribor, Celje, Koper and Nova Gorica.

Foreign coach operators registered within the EU do not require special permits to travel through Slovenia.

Check the international coach connections to Ljubljana and the latest timetables before planning your journey.
