Cycling ambassadors of Slovenia 2019

From May 28 to June 2 you can follow a remarkable cycling journey of seven cycling ambassadors discovering Slovenia.

Cycling Ambassador rides are unforgettable cycling adventures to discover the beauties of Slovenia by bike. Five participants will spend 28 May - 2 June riding over rewarding landscapes and discovering Slovenia’s natural beauty, breathing the fresh air and refreshing themselves with natural spring water.

During their unforgettable biking adventure they will also take part in a crazy retro bike race called the Red Bull Goni Pony – a 13.5-kilometre climb up Vršič Pass from 801 to 1611 metres above sea level, with gradients up to 10.8%. The charm of this event lies in the fact that you will be riding a retro Pony bicycle, which is the only type of bike you are allowed to use on the climb up Vršič Pass!

Meet our ambassadors

KAMILA PANASIUK

Kamila from Poland is a biker, a traveler and professional photographer. She has been riding bikes since she was 2 years’ old. She is an interesting mix of heart sensitivity, work-life balance, artistic mind and athletic body. Kamila prefers exploring, watching and taking pictures more than racing. She says she is not in her best cycling form but she is still headstrong, talkative and ready for a Slovenian cycling adventure. If she had all the money in the world, she would move to Italy, travel more, start surfing, make movies, write a book and buy more high-heeled shoes. You can follow Kamila on her Instagram account and her blog.
