The Slovenian Tourist Board (STB) in cooperation with Technology Park Ljubljana presents the new collection of NFT (non-fungible token) dedicated to the participants of SIW Slovenian Incoming Workshop 2023. The participants can claim their NFT as a unique digital souvenir from Slovenia powered by blockchain technology as a tourism promotion activity. The NFTs are issued in a limited edition in 5 different NFT for a total of 500 items as unique digital souvenirs for participants of the workshop on SIW 2023 on May 10th 2023.
Slovenia once again stands out as a smart, innovative and sustainable destination that is willing to look to the future and new technologies, with blockchain proving to be a very useful tool and carrier of major changes, improving and creating digitalisation of countless sectors with outstanding positive effects, which has been recognised by the STB in the recently published Strategy for the Digital Transformation of Slovenian Tourism 2022-2026, which in a specific measure (measure 9) addresses the concept and functionality of the Green Digital Token.
Tourism is constantly evolving and destinations that are ready to embrace digital development will gain significant competitive advantages. Use of the blockchain technology enables international competitiveness to be maintained at a high level by promoting digitalization, improving customer satisfaction and increasing the level of confidence due to increased efficiency, transparency and sustainability - the values that serve as a foundation for the vision of Slovenian tourism.
What is the SIW 2023 collection?
The collection is a unique selection of the most important icons of Slovenian tourism, which are representing the flagship touristic offer and will stay in the visitors mind for a long time.

- Špičnik - Love is in the air in Slovenia. Wherever you go, you will be able to find marvelous corners for romance. Špičnik is a special heart-shaped road surrounded by vineyards in the Eastern part of Slovenia.
The Ultimate NFT (non-fungible token) SIW 2023 collection
Limited edition of unique NFTs as are issued on Vandri platform as unique digital souvenirs as gifts for all the participants of SIW 2023 from more than 50 countries around the world. The partecipants will bring back home a unique memory from Slovenia in a digital way.
NFT is a digitally certified, unique and unrepeatable token that can be awarded in the form of a digital souvenir. The SIW 2023 Collection is a collection of 5 unique NFTs listed on dedicated Vandri tourism NFT platform. Each of NFTs will be transferred into attendants' digital wallets as a digital asset in the form of a unique picture with various motives from Slovenia. Owners of NFTs will be able to utilize them in real life in the future by many other activities of Slovenian Tourist Board.
A few simple steps are required to install and connect the digital wallet with Vandri platform. With the creation of the digital wallet, each owner will get a unique wallet address. Sharing this address with the issuer of the collection will enable issuer to transfer unique NFT into digital wallet of its owner. By receiving NFT in into digital wallet, ownership of the NFT will be transferred from issuer of the collection to the attendant.
This is another project that is part of the digitalization of the STB. In recent years, the STB has managed to present Slovenia as a green, intelligent and innovative destination that follows and includes in the promotion and development the changes and opportunities offered by digital development, resulting in improved visibility, quality of services and tourism promotion of the area. This is also supported by the new Strategy for the Digital Transformation of Slovenian Tourism with the vision of Slovenia becoming an example of a smart destination that strengthens and encourages the development of sustainable, boutique, personalized and innovative experiences.

What is NFT, blockchain & Vandri platform?
Vandri is a global NFT tourism marketplace platform for exclusive travel experiences and digital products by tourist destinations and provides tourist, culinary, entertainment, wellness and health experiences. The platform is one of the first to step on the NFT in tourism that is becoming more and more popular.
Blockchain is a common and "unchangeable" data structure. It is defined as a digital register in which entries are grouped into "blocks" in chronological order, and whose integrity is ensured through the use of cryptography.
NFT (non-fungible token or non-reproducible token) is a special type of token that represents a ledger and certificate of authenticity written on a blockchain of a unique asset (digital or physical).
How can I claim my NFT?
1.) In order that Vandri NFT platform can transfer NFT into your digital wallet, you need to have Metamask wallet installed on your computer
If you don’t have Metamask wallet installed yet, please follow instructions How To Set Up A MetaMask Wallet. 2.) When you will install your Metamask walet follow instructions How to connect Matemask Wallet with Vandri platform
- Once you successfully created our Metamask wallet, you have first to add Polygon network in your wallet. Follow these instructions:
- Go on Vandri platform here: https://vandri.io/.
- Click on Metamask button (fox) to change blockchain network from Ethereum to Polygon.
- If you don't have a Polygon network already in the Metamask wallet, you have to install it first by using these instructions.
- When you have a Polygon network successfully installed you switch on it (from Ethereum network to Polygon).
- Push the refresh button.
- Go into Metamask wallet and copy your wallet address (42 characters).
- Send your wallet address on following e-mail: info@vandri.io and scan of your NFT card (page with the picture) you received from the Slovenian Tourism Board and attach scan it into the e-mail you will send together with your wallet address.
- Vandri team will transfer your NFT into your wallet and send you an email to notify you that the transaction was realised.

Go to Vandri platform and click on top right button and select My profile and check if NFT is in your wallet.
