SIW 2019: MY WAY OF DOING BUSINESS.

This year, Slovenian Incoming Workshop, the largest business event in Slovenian Tourism, hosted more than 400 participants. Representatives of 155 foreign companies came from 37 countries and, in just one day, carried out a staggering total of 3500 business meetings and gatherings. What is most impressive is the percentage of foreign companies that came to SIW for the first time: 72%.

In addition to formal business meetings, this year's SIW paid special attention to informal meetings and experiences, which offer a more relaxed opportunity to solidify existing and establish new partnerships between representatives from Slovenian tourism and foreign tour operators and travel agents. For this reason, Slovenian participants joined foreigners on study tours ahead of the SIW, and after the formal part of the SIW finished, they socialised together in the afternoon during numerous experiential programmes, which featured green, active, and healthy experiences. After the SIW had ended, foreign visitors were able to participate in one of the four themed study tours where there was sufficient time to build business ties with future partners from Slovenia.

The success of the 2019 SIW has also been confirmed by the impressions of foreign participants of the event:
