News from Ljubljana Airport

There is some exciting news from Ljubljana Airport, where new flights will be introduced this summer, while some existing ones are only becoming more established.

News from Ljubljana Airport

British Airways are starting a new summer connection with the largest airport in Britain – London Heathrow Airport. The new route is also important for Slovenia’s accessibility for travellers from distant markets, as Heathrow Airport enables connections to 203 destinations in 84 countries. The line will operate from 15 July to 2 September, twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays.

The connection with Paris, which is among the five most popular destinations from Ljubljana Airport, will be enhanced. As of the end of October 2019, Air France, which will already increase the number of flights to the French capital during this year’s peak season, will operate flights to Paris twice a day, every day of the week, except Saturdays when only one flight will be scheduled.

In August, Air Serbia starts flying between Ljubljana and Niš, the third largest city in Serbia. The line will operate throughout the year, and passengers will be able to travel between these two cities twice a week, on Mondays and Thursdays.
