First smart hotel has opened it's doors

A few days ago first new smart hotel, Central hotel, was opened in Ljubljana and there are more refurbishments planned in the city centre, at the Lev and Slon hotels.

At the Ljubljana’s suburbs in The Four Points By Sheraton Ljubljana Mons, which has 11 conference halls, will more than double its accommodation capacity and the number of rooms. 122 new rooms will be added to the existing 114 rooms.

Opposite the recently constructed five-star Intercontinental hotel, construction machinery is already humming away. Here, the investor, Zlatarna Celje, is planning a five-star hotel with conference facilities and 300 rooms.

Next to the Kongresni trg square, in the very heart of Ljubljana, Šumi, a 151-room hotel and residential complex is planned to open in 2021.

On the other side of the city centre, in Kolodvorska ulica, a boutique hotel with 48 rooms and seven luxury flats, which will also offer users hotel services, a unique example in Ljubljana, is planned for construction by the end of next year.

We are all happy about the news that the iconic hotel on the outskirts of the city centre, in the shelter of the first trees of Šišenski hrib hill, the Hotel Bellevue, is about to be refurbished.

In the coming years, the Turkish Dekon Group is planning a 150-room hotel next to the Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre.
