Experience Croatia, Feel Slovenia! Joint ETC funded promotion on the Chinese market

From October 2018 to March 2019, a series of promotional activities will take place in the Chinese market. What makes the campaign special is the fact that Slovenia and Croatia joint forces and represent their tourism offer together, hoping to get better visibility and attract more visitors. Last week, ETC approved funds of over 200,000 EUR.

The Slovenian Tourist Board (STB) and the Croatian Tourist Board have joint forces and decided to promote their tourism offer on the Chinese market together. Last week, the European Travel Commission approved funds in the total value of over 200,000 EUR. The promotional campaign activities will take place from October 2018 to March 2019, with the key objectives being the increase in the visibility and the strengthening of the reputation of both countries as attractive and authentic European tourist destinations. The activities among other things include advertising in the top Chinese media, including Bazaar, Esquire and NatGeo and a great number of B2B activities.


Both national boards were more than thrilled to hear the great news about the funding, which will surely help make the “Experience Croatia, Feel Slovenia” campaign in the Chinese market more visible. An increased number of visitors from the Chinese market, which is considered one of the most promising global emitting tourist markets, to both countries is expected.
