People in Slovenia are well-aware that gastronomy  is one of the key elements that provides tourists with a great selection of experiences. Geographic and biotic diversity, spiced up with the four seasons and centuries of tradition, are what makes a selection of services fantastic. Slovenian dishes are always exciting as you can see for yourself online in the Taste Slovenia brochure.

Delicious food goes hand in hand with a nice beverage, and all fine wine connoisseurs, craft beer aficionados and spirit enthusiasts will all find reason for contentment. The wide selection of non-alcoholic beverages will have you ordering refreshing home-made juices in the summer and hand-picked local herbal teas in the winter.

You can also opt for a comprehensive experience at one of the tourist farms , perhaps you can visit a fine restaurant  or try the popular street food. You can select from a variety of services according to the Farm-to-Table and Zero Waste philosophies. If you still want more, you can always join a Slovenian cooking class.

After Ana Roš was starred in her own episode of Netflix’s cult series Chef’s Table and won the title of the World’s Best Female Chef in 2017, Slovenia has been in the spotlight and is now reaching new milestones. The respectable Gault & Millau, one of the three most influential international guides in gastronomy, is coming to Slovenia. Slovenia has also been nominated as the European region of gastronomy 2021. And just this week, Hiša Franko ranked 48th among The World’s 50 Best Restaurants.
