In the coming months Slovenia will have a few new air connections. Not only will Ljubljana gain seven new services, but Maribor too will be connected with Munich and Antwerp.

According to the summer schedule, which comes into force on 25 March, Adria Airways will fly to several new European cities and tourist destinations, and the latest added connection to Kiev will be retained. It will now be possible to fly from Ljubljana to Hamburg, Germany´s largest port (4 times a week), Swiss Geneva (3 times a week), Romania's capital Bucharest (4 times a week), Sofia, capital of Bulgaria (3 times a week), the Croatian pearl Dubrovnik (twice a week), and to the island of Brač, Croatia (twice a week).
Adria Airways is also opening Dusseldorf as the newest destination to its expanding network, with the new service beginning on April 26th 2018. With Dusseldorf, Adria will fly to a total of 24 destinations during the summer season.
In February, VLM Airlines started to operate flights between Maribor, the second largest Slovenian city, and Belgium’s Antwerp via Munich. One daily service in each direction will be provided on weekdays, with one-way fares starting from as little as EUR 59.
And add to this the news that on 9 August 2018, British low-cost airline Easyjet will launch a Ljubljana - Berlin service, flying between the Slovenian and German capitals three times a week.
