Terme Čatež: Where Thermal Waters Meet Summer Fun

As summer reaches its peak, Terme Čatež, Slovenia's largest thermal resort, has launched its full seasonal offer, combining one of Central Europe's largest outdoor thermal water parks with family-friendly accommodation, wellness, gastronomy and entertainment.

The resort's Summer Thermal Riviera features an extensive collection of outdoor thermal pools, water slides and attractions designed for all generations. Highlights include the Pirate Island children's water playground, the iconic Boomerang slide, a wave pool, a lazy river and an Olympic-size swimming pool.

Even on rainy days, visitors can continue their holiday at the Winter Thermal Riviera, where indoor pools, waterfalls, whirlpools, a wild river and covered water slides recreate a tropical atmosphere beneath the resort's recognisable glass domes.

Beyond its water attractions, Terme Čatež has further expanded its visitor experience with a diverse culinary offering. Guests can choose from casual poolside dining, international flavours, local specialities and sweet treats, all located within easy reach of the thermal complex.

Accommodation ranges from the recently introduced Hotel Toplice Family Inn, Slovenia's first hotel designed specifically for families, to apartments, premium mobile homes, a five-star campsite and the distinctive floating houses of Pirate Bay, offering an unusual lakeside stay.

Visitors can also combine their thermal holiday with cultural and outdoor experiences nearby. Just a few minutes from the resort, Mokrice Castle offers a blend of heritage, golf, nature and fine dining.

Throughout the summer, Terme Čatež complements its thermal facilities with an extensive entertainment programme,  including family activities, evening events, live music, the Cabana Lounge & Play venue, and an amusement park featuring a panoramic Ferris wheel, go-karts and a 5D simulator.

Located in eastern Slovenia near the Croatian border and approximately one hour's drive from Ljubljana and Zagreb, Terme Čatež remains one of the country's leading family holiday destinations, attracting visitors seeking thermal wellness, outdoor recreation and summer fun in a single destination.
