Guesthouse Tu'lie Opens in the Soča Valley

Tu'lie Guesthouse near Most na Soči in Soča Valley combines stylish lodging, local gastronomy, wellness, and authentic experiences inspired by the region's rich natural and cultural heritage.

A new boutique accommodation, Tu'lie Guesthouse, has opened in Modrejce near Most na Soči, further enriching the tourism offer of the Soča Valley. The property features 12 rooms, a penthouse apartment, a wellness area, a wine cellar, and a restaurant focused on local ingredients and regional culinary traditions.

Created by world-class canoe slalom athlete Luka Božič and Taja Špacapan, the guesthouse was designed to offer an authentic experience rooted in the culture, nature, and heritage of the Tolmin area. The name Tu'lie comes from the local dialect and means "here," reflecting the property's strong connection to its surroundings.

The culinary concept draws inspiration from traditional recipes and ingredients of the Upper Soča Valley, reinterpreting local dishes in a contemporary way while preserving their original character. Many menu items feature authentic dialect names and flavours closely associated with the region.

The opening addresses growing demand for higher-end accommodation in the Soča Valley, one of Slovenia's most visited destinations, which surpassed one million overnight stays in 2025.

The new guesthouse adds a boutique, experience-driven option for travellers seeking outdoor adventures, local gastronomy, and wellness experiences in one of the country's most scenic regions.
