Nova Gorica Invites Audiences Through the Story of Pianist Alexander Gadjiev

The Feel Good Towns series continues with a new story, this time inviting audiences to experience Nova Gorica through the perspective of internationally acclaimed pianist Alexander Gadjiev. A winner of major international competitions and one of the most prominent pianists of his generation, Gadjiev brings a distinctive artistic sensitivity to this portrait of the city, offering a refined and personal view shaped by music, memory, and place.

Set against the backdrop of European Capital of Culture 2025, Nova Gorica emerges as a dynamic cultural hub where borders fade and creativity takes centre stage. Together with neighbouring Gorizia, the city shaped a cross-border programme that highlightedew  shared heritage, contemporary art, and forward-looking cultural dialogue – an energy that resonates throughout Gadjiev’s story.

In the feature, Alexander Gadjiev, internationally acclaimed pianist ,guides viewers through Nova Gorica as a space of openness and artistic exchange. Positioned on the border with Italy, the city reveals itself not only through its modernist architecture and cultural venues, but through a spirit of freedom and connection. For Gadjiev, it is a place where different worlds meet – where music, culture, and everyday life flow seamlessly across borders.

Through his story, Nova Gorica emerges as a city of subtle inspiration. Rather than focusing solely on landmarks, the story captures atmosphere: light, space, and the rhythm of a place that encourages creativity.
