Foodies, Take Note! If your ideal winter escape revolves around memorable dining, Milka is one of the restaurants worth travelling for. This two-Michelin-starred gem welcomes the season with a renewed setting, evolved menus and a series of global accolades.

Milka Restaurant in Kranjska Gora has entered its new winter season following a month-long break dedicated to travel, development and interior updates. During the closure, several renovations were completed, and the team prepared a refreshed menu, updated wine pairings and an expanded wine list.

The upcoming festive period brings adjusted opening hours. Milka will be closed on December 24th and 25th, while on December 28th the restaurant will exceptionally open for a Sunday lunch service featuring its tasting menu. A special New Year’s Eve dinner will be held on December 31st, with the menu priced at €360 per person.

From January to March, Milka will again offer its Short Experience – a four-course menu served alongside the restaurant’s tasting menu and priced at €140 per person.

The autumn months brought a series of notable recognitions for Milka and its team. On October 2nd, chef David Žefran received the World Class Award from The Best Chef association for the second consecutive year. On October 12th, Milka became the first Slovenian restaurant to join Les Grandes Tables du Monde, one of the world’s most prestigious gastronomic associations. At the La Liste gala in Paris on November 24th, Milka was included among the Top 1000 restaurants worldwide, achieving a score of 94 points.

With these achievements, Milka continues to strengthen its position on the international culinary map while entering the new winter season with several updates and refined offerings.
