Slovenian cuisine shines in summer with the freshness of nature –simple, seasonal and full of life. In Piran, Stara gostilna, led by chef Kristian Zule, combines Istrian tradition with creative elegance, while Dvor Jezeršek in Upper Carniola, under the guidance of chef Klemen Maletič, offers modern Slovenian flavours rooted in rich tradition.

Summer in Slovenia calls for exploring wine routes, rivers and lakes, where local delights – refreshing soups, salads, marinated fish, and fruity desserts – pamper the palate.
