The inaugural Kog25 Pannonia wine festival, held from April 5 to 7 in the picturesque village of Kog in Prlekija, brought together wine enthusiasts from across Europe, showcasing over 100 exceptional wines from nine countries.

The premiere edition of the Kog25 Pannonia wine festival took place in Kog, a charming village in the far east of Slovenia, nestled in the heart of Prlekija. This inaugural event proved that even in the most remote corners of Slovenia, stories with global potential are born. Held from Saturday, April 5, to Monday, April 7, Kog25 Pannonia attracted an eager audience from Slovenia and beyond, drawing wine enthusiasts to Prlekija and offering them the chance to taste over 100 selected wines from nine European countries.

For connoisseurs of fine wine, the debut of this event offered a boutique and immersive experience that went far beyond a mere tasting. Three varieties of wine, emblematic of the region, were featured: Šipon, Welsch Riesling and Blue Franconian. Alongside the wines, visitors were treated to an array of culinary delights from local producers, enhancing the sensory experience and connecting guests to the region’s rich gastronomic heritage.
