Increased Flight Frequency to Munich and Zurich for Winter Timetable

On Sunday, 27 October, the winter timetable has started, running until 29 March 2025. Throughout this period, Ljubljana Airport will operate with 14 scheduled airlines across 16 routes. There will be increased flight frequency to the Munich and Zurich hubs compared to last winter season. Additionally, the winter flight network will be enhanced by charter flights to 15 destinations. With passenger numbers rising by 17% compared to last year, Fraport Slovenia anticipates welcoming over 1.4 million travelers by year-end.

Increased Flight Frequency to Munich and Zurich for Winter Timetable

Two airlines will increase the number of flights this winter compared to last year. Lufthansa will boost its weekly flights to Munich from 7 to 10, while Swiss will increase its frequencies to Zurich from 11 to 14. The enhanced service to Zurich will also introduce convenient daily morning flights, offering passengers greater flexibility and improved onward connections from this key hub.

In total, passengers can look forward to 16 scheduled services from 14 carriers in the winter timetable, featuring the following flight frequencies:

  • airBaltic: Up to twice weekly to Riga  
  • Air France: Daily to Paris  
  • Air Montenegro: Three times a week to Podgorica  
  • Air Serbia: 16 times weekly to Belgrade and twice weekly to Niš  
  • Brussels Airlines: Four times a week to Brussels  
  • easyJet: Four times weekly to London Gatwick  
  • flydubai: Daily to Dubai  
  • LOT Polish Airlines: Six times a week to Warsaw  
  • Lufthansa: Twice daily to Frankfurt and ten times weekly to Munich  
  • Luxair: Up to twice weekly to Luxembourg  
  • SWISS Airlines: Twice daily to Zurich  
  • Transavia: Three times a week to Amsterdam  
  • Turkish Airlines: Twice daily to Istanbul  
  • WizzAir: Three times a week to Skopje
