Slovenian Tourism on a Steady Path of Sustainable Growth

In the first eight months of this year, Slovenian tourism has experienced moderate growth, aligning with the goals set forth in the Slovenian Tourism Strategy 2022-2028. According to the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia, impressive 12.5 million overnight stays were recorded, reflecting a 4.3 percent increase compared to the same period in 2023, and a 6.7 percent rise** from the same period in 2019.

Additionally, Slovenia welcomed 4.8 million arrivals, which marks a 6.2 percent increase over 2023 and a 5.9 percent increase compared to 2019. The average length of stay during the first eight months of 2024 was 2.6 nights, with August seeing an even higher average of 2.8 overnight stays.
