New Boutique Accommodations

This autumn, the new luxury accommodation Chocolate Village will open its doors. Two boutique hotels were completely renovated and now boast premium interior design, as well as special devotion to guests and environment.

New Boutique Accommodations

A hotel in Bohinjska Bistrica, from 1890, which also hosted members of the Austrian-Hungarian royal family, has been completely rebuilt into the Sunrose 7 Heritage Boutique Hotel as an adult-only catering facility and is introducing the concept of digital detoxification. This means that there are no televisions, telephones, or other digital (multi)media gadgets on the premises, while special attention is devoted to environmental protection.

The DAM Boutique Hotel & Restaurant is a project of chef Uroš Fakuč who wanted to combine supreme cuisine and luxurious accommodation under one roof. The restaurant has been running since 2005 and is based on the creative ideas of Chef Fakuč who frequently finds inspiration in the somewhat forgotten dishes of traditional Mediterranean cuisine, which he tries to modify and take to a new level. The hotel offers seven luxurious rooms and two suites. The elegantly furnished premises are decorated with paintings by young Slovenian artist Klemen Brun.

The Chocolate Village by the river is a dream-come-true for all chocolate lovers. The glamping resort is located in the beautiful surroundings of the Natura 2000 nature park right by the river and international Drava cycling route. The town of Maribor is 5 km away and what’s best: the chocolate factory is only 5 steps away.
