Embrace the forest

The Treetop Walk has opened at the top of Rogla in the heart of the magnificent and endless Pohorje forests. You can climb the panoramic tower and take a walk along the wooden walkway which will take you among the treetops.

Embrace the forest

What a unique experience of nature when ascending to the treetops of majestic spruces and then walking among them! Some 20 metres above ground and about 1,537 metres above sea level, you can see the surrounding area from a different perspective. The walk is more than 500 metres long from a total length of 1,000 metres. The circular panoramic tower is 37 metres high and offers views in all directions far and wide.

Information boards with educational and didactic elements are situated along the walkway for everyone who, in addition to hearing, smelling and observing the forest, wishes to enrich and expand their knowledge of nature, its protection, and the role of forests and natural processes taking place there, including other interesting facts helping us understand what the forest and its inhabitants need in order to live and thrive. Certain experimental stations have been arranged for children and adults on the walkway where the level of adrenaline may also increase.

The entire Treetop Walk Pohorje, including the panoramic tower, is accessible for wheelchairs and pushchairs.
