Renovated comfort

News of new accommodation capacities is coming in from all around Slovenia. New hotels are opening, while many are undergoing a thorough renovation. A fresh appearance and renovated comfort in a modern orientation are the things that will offer guests an even more pleasant accommodation experience.

We start in the capital city, where the Union hotels, which account for a full quarter of Ljubljana’s overnight capacities, are in the process of changing their name and establishing a new corporate brand, the Union Hotels Collection. This comprises four hotels which in addition to the magnificent art nouveau Grand Hotel Union features the very recently renovated futuristic Central Hotel, the uHotel, which replaces the Union Business and the recently renovated retro chic Hotel Lev.

Two pieces of news have come in from Primorska. In Ankaran, the Rezidenca Ortus hotel has been completely renovated. The wood-clad boutique hotel, with its modern and minimalist furnishings, offers guests privacy, tranquillity and comfort. Not far away, in Izola renovation work has been completed on the San Simon Resort, which is decked with abundant Mediterranean vegetation and has been upgraded in the concept of a family-friendly hotel.

Slovenia’s Alpine jewel, Bled, boasts the completely renovated former Hotel Jelovica. The four-star Bled Rose Hotel has now opened its doors, attracting guests with the slogan: “A hotel enchanting like Bled”. Renovators have also been busy in Bohinj, and the Aparthotel Triglav in Stara Fužina has re-opened.

And from the easternmost reaches of Slovenia comes news of a new distributed hotel. Hotel Vinarium in Lendava, where guests will sleep in vineyard cottages.
