The diversity of the Slovenian landscape is also seen at golf courses. There are 13 golf courses in Slovenia, which can be found in an area stretching from Alpine valleys, Pannonian Plains, through vineyards, and to the exceptional natural environment around Lipica. The oldest and largest course in Slovenia can be found near our Alpine gem, Lake Bled. The golf course was built in the Kingdom of Yugoslavia, and it was later extended and renamed into Royal Bled.
