Fun on a sledge

There are many ways to spend a wonderful winter day outdoors in Slovenia. In addition to enjoying skiing at Slovenian ski resorts, cross-country skiing on well-maintained trails, or going on winter hikes through a snow-covered landscape, you can also find the child within and even slide down a hill on a sledge. No prior knowledge is needed to go sledging. Hire a sledge at facilities for hiring skiing and other equipment, which are usually found right next to ski slopes. Just about anyone can have fun sledging – from youngsters to senior citizens. Although you only need some snow and a hill to go sledging, make sure to look at our selection of locations where sledging could be particularly fun.

Winter experiences on Rogla

Rogla is a popular family ski centre, where there is something for everyone. To top off skiing on well-maintained runs, adrenaline-filled adventures in a snow park, fun for kids in the Devil’s Land and Pohorje Village, a hike through the surrounding area on snow shoes, and a ride in a horse-drawn carriage, you can also go night sledging. Finding a suitable hill for sledging will prove to be no problem during the day too. Alternatively, you can also go on a ride in a motor sledge (snowmobile).
