FCI Individual SAR Dog World Championship

The FCI Individual SAR Dog World Championship will bring handlers and their dogs from numerous countries to Slovenia. The competition combines demanding search tasks and highlights the skill, reliability and dedication of rescue dog teams.

The Championship is one of the key international events attracting handlers of rescue dogs from many countries. The competition includes area search, rubble search, tracking and the universal category, which combines all three disciplines. It also includes obedience and obstacle work, where teams demonstrate precision and cooperation. It represents a comprehensive test of preparedness in line with FCI international standards and raises awareness of the role of dogs in search and rescue.
