17th Medieval Days at Bled Castle

It has been over a thousand years since, on 10 April 1004, the German king Henry II conferred the estate of Bled, located in the province of Carniola, on Bishop Albuin of Brixen and his church.

Medieval Days at Bled Castle is a traditional event organised by the Bled Culture Institute for all generations. The 17th edition will take place on 31 May and 1 June. A varied programme awaits you with performances by medieval groups at the castle, a rich craft market in the car park and a camp in the castle park. Medieval groups from Slovenia and abroad, craftsmen and musicians will occupy the venues of the castle.

The programme will run from 10:00 to 18:00 on Saturday and Sunday.

Entrance to the venues in the castle park and in the castle car park is free, but entrance to the castle is subject to an entrance fee.
