Franc Kozlevčar is the vine grower and winemaker, who form young age dealing with viticulture for the past twenty years and intensively with cellaring. All that are demonstrated with a number of medals and awards achieved by its wine.
In his cellar ripen wines in Dolenjska achieve top ratings and medals, some of them rank among the top wines in the world. They make varietal wine types, like Pinot Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, cviček, Pinot Noir and specialty Blue Franconian barriques aged in French oak barrels. In addition to these wines they have also Rossi from Blue Franconian, Yellow muscat, sweet sparkling wine Pinot Blanc and sparkling wine with 24-karat gold leaf.
The vineyards are mostly new and located in a sunny position Medvedjek. Hill, which was surrounded by walls belayer castle standing on top Medvedjek, was planted with vines many years ago. The wall was a safeguard against attacks of Turks. Ninety years ago, the vine louse came and destroyed the vines, so that when the area planted wine šmarnica, and now it is again planted vintage wine variety. Medvedjek also has a history, which was marked by monastery Stična. Vine growers who have cooperated with vineyards monks/abbots from Pletarje, had that wine Medvedjek hill rented and produce quality grapes, as in Pleterje.
