The Locna cemetery, situated southeast of Novo mesto, gave the eternal peace to a number of important Slovenians: the writer Janez Trdina, the painters Božidar Jakac and Vladimir Lamut, the composer Marjan Kozina, the scientist Ferdinand Seidl and other creative minds. The cemetery also includes a monument to the people who died during the World War II or were killed in the Post-war period, presenting a commemorative plate with 128 names.
