
The lapidary, presenting Roman and medieval epitaphs, bulit earlier in the walls of the parish church or found elsewhere in the town, was arranged at the south wall of the parish church in the years 1971-972. The most important amond the medievel tombstones is the sepulchral plaque of Kranj's priest Koloman of the minestarial lineage de Manswerd , who did much for the benefit of the parish church in the first half of 15th century. The Fountain of the st.John Nepomuk was palced against the south wall of the church in 1971, at the ocassion of the recinstruction of the square. The fountain is the work of the well known Slovene sculptor Franc Berneker (1874-1932) and was placed in front of the ancient law court in 1911 by the heirs of the Kranj merchant Ivan Majdic according to his last will.
