Senuše is the smallest local administrative community in the municipality of Krško. It borders the local administrative communities of Raka, Veliki Trn and Leskovec pri Krškem. Senuše consists of six villages – Senuše, Drenovec, Brezovska Gora, Brezje, Straža and Dedni Vrh – which are home to around 450 inhabitants. The centre of the local administrative community is the village of Senuše. The community has a volunteer fire brigade and a sports club. A marked path leads to the famous cave of Ajdovska Jama. There is also a fish pond known as Račjak. This is a rural area where most of the people are involved in viticulture and fruit growing (fruit trees and fruit bushes).
