Is located 5 km north-east of Bogojina. Decades ago, local engineers have dammed the Bukovnica stream in order to create an artificial lake – the 'Bukovniško jezero'. The nearby forest is filled with high-energy spots and is regarded as the second most prolific area in Europe with regard to the number and potency of the energy-emitting spots it contains. Visit 'Vidov izvir' – The Spring of St. Vitus. Its water has miraculous powers! The Bereki meadow is adorned by a monument in honour of Jožko Talanyi–Janez, a soldier of the Prekmurje Company of the Partisan Army who died under Hungarian fire in 1945. Not far from there, in the forest of Motvarjevci, stands Vogler's Cottage, which served as a shelter of the 1st Prekmurje Company of the Partisan Army for a while at the beginning of the same year.
Some areas very close to Bukovnica have been mentioned with regard to archaeological finds dated back to the Copper Age.
