Gourmet wine pamparing

1st day
Guests are met by a guide (optional: rental car,individual transport, mini bus...). You set out for a boutique wine region Goriška Brda.

You are going to visit a medieval village Šmartno and most surely be delighted by its narrow, romantic lanes, the wall and a viewing tower, from where the Adriatic Sea can be seen in good weather.
Wine tasting at a renowned wine grower in Goriška Brda takes place, who can boast numerous awards and a long family tradition. You will be taken to a boutique wine cellar, where you will get familiar with the wine production procedure.
After that, wine tasting in a tasting room with a magnificent view of vineyards takes place. Seven wine samples will be tasted, including authentic wine sorts. With wine you will taste cheeses and meat delicacies from the region. Boutique accommodation.

2rd day
Cheese tasting at a cheese producer's over the Slovenian border in Italy. It is interesting that their cheese matures more than 70 m below the surface. The cheese has become very popular in Italy and is being served in many prestige Italian restaurants.

Wine tastings:
- tasting at a world renowned wine maker. American magazine Wine&Spirits ranked him among 100 best wine makers in the world.
- sparkling wine tasting by a wine growing family, producing renowned Slovenian sparkling wines (can boast with serval awards).

Dinner at a boutique family estate (a limited guest number-3o), which offers haute cuisine and their own prosciutto and salami. The owner and chef is one of the best cooks in the Goriška Brda region. His specialities are top-class fresh seasonal dishes, flavoured with fresh spices from his garden. You can follow the entire food preparation behind the bar from your table, and observe the exquisite arrangements of plates.

3rd day
We make a stop at a farm where the tasting of olive oil, wine, fruit- cherry, homemade tasting of fish specialities jam ... takes place (home made products can also be bought). Lunch at the famous manor of innovative cuisine  in Vipava, which is known for numerous Italian guests (slow food, Restaurateurs d'Europe).
