 The Rog Crmošnjice Ski-Recreation Center is located near Novo mesto and Semič and draws skiers from Dolenjska, Bela krajina, Suha krajina, Ljubljana, and Croatia. It lies below the peak of Mount Pogorelec at 965 meters. The ski area is suitable for both recreational skiers and competitors. Various ski clubs organize school and nature study programs, sport days, ski schools, national ski races, and an international FIS competition in super giant slalom for women.
