The settlement is only a few kilometres from Moravske Toplice and used to be a borough of the village of Tešanovci until 1953. The majority of the residential houses are located adjacent to the road. Holiday dwellings and wine cellars can also be found near the village border. The 'Jelovškov breg' hill, riddled with fertile vineyards, is home to quite a few wine taverns. In their native dialect, local people of Prekmurje refer to the village as "Süji Vrej". The wavy wine-growing region is an idyllic place. Some even refer to it as the "wine-tavern-eldorado". Vacationers to Moravske Toplice are fond of visiting the area during cycling tours for its panoramic view.
