Sebeborci are located 5 km north-west of Moravske Toplice. The picturesque and colourful village has approximately 535 inhabitants. The lower part of Sebeborci is flat, while the upper area of the village is hilly and terraced. This provides the traveller with an open and unlimited view over the meticulously cultivated fields. The southern slopes of the ridges are riddled with vineyards and holiday dwellings. A natural health water spring can also be found south-west of the village. Two cemeteries are located in the village; a Catholic cemetery, and an Evangelical Lutheran cemetery.
Local societies and an active singing choir are responsible for 'keeping the beat' of the community alive and well. The most popular social event of the village is the annual 'Pohod Gostilne Marič' – Marič Inn Hike, which regularly takes place during the month of September.
