The village is located south of Martjanci, in close proximity to Moravske Toplice, with which it is connected by a narrow asphalt path that leads hikers and cyclists through the local fields and past the Terme 3000 18-hole golf course. Noršinci is the birthplace of Jánoš Kardoš, who served as Reverend Evangelical Lutheran pastor of Hodoš. Kardoš is regarded as the second most important and influential Evangelical Lutheran writer of Prekmurje after Štefan Küzmič. The village is flat and surrounded by wide fields and a majestic panoramic view.
Farming and produce-growing is widely spread and undertaken by many families.
Archaeological remains of the Roman period are present in the form of characteristic stone grave monuments. The aforementioned Jánoš Kardoš (1801-1873), the second most important and influential Evangelical Lutheran writer of Prekmurje after Štefan Küzmič, is regarded as Noršinci's favourite son.
