The village lies under the slope of Straža (580m). Beside the locall well there are also three wells called Studenci which, were according to oral tradition built by Napoleon`s soldiers. The kal Globočaj (50 times 100 m) is the largest kal with spring water and flows from the hills Hrbec, Belila and Čebulovica. In 1992 it was declared as a cultural heritage of the municipality of Sežana. In the village surroundings is situated Petnjak - a collapse doline with several underground passages and a cave. The village also holds a WW II monument, which was erected in 1958.
