The Gallery of Contemporary Art in Celje has been operating since 1993 and with its affiliated premises at the Ducal Court (Knežji dvorec) in Celje is intended for larger, study-oriented exhibitions of local and foreign authors. The Hall Gallery (Galerija Hodnik) in the complex of the Gallery of Contemporary Art is dedicated mostly to the presentation of modern art from local artistic areas, to exhibitions of young artists, and also to exhibitions of younger artists who are only just entering the Slovenian art scene.
