The Goričko region in northeastern Slovenia has a pleasantly undulating landscape from which higher viewpoint peaks rise here and there. The Sever farm stands among the vineyards on one of the hills beside the Wine Road that leads from Moravske Toplice. Now an excursion farm, by this summer they will finish building an apartment for four guests (and two children).
The Severs serve homemade cold cuts with homemade bread, and with advance notice they will prepare various local specialties such as Prekmurje pork and sausage with sour turnip, bograč, gibanica or posolanka, retaši . . . Most of their guests come while staying at the Moravske Toplice or Lendava health resorts or are tourists visiting Plečnik’s church in Bogojina, the rotunda in Selo, or Bukovniško jezero lake.
