The Rekar farm, whose old house boasts an ancient “black kitchen,” offers a beautiful panoramic view over Mount Kriška gora, Mount Triglav, Jamnik, Lesce, and Radovljica.

 
The farm, which has a certificate for organic farming, breeds fallow deer. The hostess is a very skillful cook and will delight you with her venison goulash, stuffed rabbit, roast veal, deer and veal steaks, and rabbit pâté as well as with her excellent mushroom soup, žganci, štruklji, masovnik, and originally prepared vegetable dishes.

The farm is an excellent starting point for ascents to the surrounding hills and mountains. Javornik, Konjuščica, Stegovnik, Storžič, Kriška gora, the Storžič mountain lodge, etc., all invite you to climb to their tops. If you wish, you can go bird watching or discover the ever new and interesting world of wild animals. When the first snow falls, a sled ride in the moonlight is an unforgettable experience.
