The organic farm Pri Baronu, owned by the Uranjek family, lies in the village Planica nad Framom, surrounded by meadows, fields, orchards and forests.
The farm is an excellent choice for all those who appreciate good homemade food, and culinary adventure starts already upon your arrival on the farm. The Uranjeks offer different lunch menus, cold cuts and various meat products such as blood sausages. If you have a sweet tooth, you must try their gibanica and apple strudel. The delicious meals are, of course, accompanied by good wines. The Uranjeks keep a substantial herb garden, so you should try at least some of their many herb and fruit liqueurs. You can also buy organically grown products on the farm (fruit, vegetables, herbal teas, liqueurs…).
Families with children are most welcome on the farm, where children can play on swings or in a sand pit, and there us also hanging bowling, a sled, a football field and a volleyball court. Children will also love the company of farm animals. Apart from the cows, there are also rabbits, Mačo the dog, Tika the cat, chickens, ducks and even a Vietnamese pig. Your hosts can organize various activities on the farm, such as a tour of the farm, a tour of the herb garden, creative workshops and much more.
The surrounding area is an excellent starting point for exploring the countryside. Some of the places worth visiting are the Church of the Holy Cross, Potnik's spruce, Vešner underground cave, Vešner house, Fram stream, Tal 2000 botanical garden in Gorica, botanical garden in Pivoli and many others.
