The Zupans were the first to introduce farm tourism to this area almost three decades ago. Their characteristic Gorenjska house has a sunny site surrounded by two hectares of land, a real paradise for children. One of the rooms that guests admire most contains 18th-century furniture.
In addition to rooms, the house offers apartments where guests can cook for themselves. The garden provides all the vegetables you will need, and the Zupans can supply eggs, milk, and other items. In winter, when there is less farm work, they offer visitors all sorts of meat and dried meat products, minced lard, milk, and dairy products (their fruit-milk drinks are a specialty). The perfect breakfast is fried eggs with homemade cracklings.
Extra hands are always welcome with the farm work, and guests are welcome in the kitchen as well to help prepare fresh bread and potica, though admittedly, most guests go out to enjoy the Bled and Bohinj area, swimming in both lakes in summer, hiking to Pokljuka and other peaks, bicycling, skiing in winter . . .
