In the old part of Vrhpolje, a village on the sunny slopes of Mt Gora, good wines are made. You can try them on the Farm Žvokelj.

The cellar offers a wide range of Vipava wine sorts: Riesling Italico, Malvasia, Sauvignon, and Chardonnay. Lovers of red wines can try Merlot or Cabernet Sauvignon.

The pride of the cellar is Rebula, Vitovska Garganija and Zelen, sorts indigenous to the Primorje region.

Near the farm, there is a church with a 14th century fresco.

Special feature:
Footpath through the Vrhpolje vineyards along the Bela torrent; a free-climbing wall and Zemono Manor are close by.
